A Conversation on Youth Health and Well-Being with

Jackie Joyner-Kersee

Tuesday, March 1, 2022
10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Hosted online via Zoom Webinar

Youth in Lane County are struggling with maintaining their health and well-being more than ever. Join us as Jackie shares personal stories about the importance of mental and physical health and how we can all persevere through challenging times.

Her presentation will be followed by a conversation with Lane County middle and high school students about challenges to health and well-being today, and Q&A with the broader audience.

More about Jackie: as one of the most decorated female athletes of all-time, Jackie dominated the track and field circuit for 13 years and won three gold, one silver, and two bronze medals spanning four Olympic Games during her illustrious career. In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Jackie founded the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Youth Center Foundation to serve underprivileged youth, and is an advocate for children’s education, racial equity, and women’s rights.

Join us for this incredible opportunity to hear from Jackie and local Lane County youth.

All are welcome to attend; please share widely.
