You're invited to join United Way of Lane County for our
Racial Justice Community Gathering
Sunday, August 28, 2022, 1:00 p.m.
Eugene Science Center | 2300 Leo Harris Pkwy, Eugene
In late 2021, United Way launched a new Racial Justice Fund, aimed at moving substantial resources to enable communities of color to build power, influence, access, and wealth.
After gathering hopes and ideas from impacted communities for how to use funds ($65,000 to-date), ideas have ranged from building generational wealth, retaining staff of color in schools and social services, creating community spaces for folks of color to gather, and more. We’re excited to share more about what we’ve heard and how funds will be used in the coming year!
Bring your families, friends, and colleagues for this free community event!
